Pinterest Project – Nailed It!
June 8, 2015|Posted in: Happy, Healthy, Smart Kids!
We’ve all seen the funny photos that have a beautiful project from Pinterest on one side and on the other side is a photo of someone’s attempt to make the same project, but their attempt was an epic fail. The caption usually says something sarcastic like, “Nailed it!”
Well G-2 was talking about jet packs while he was playing the other day. I said to him, “did you know we can make a jet pack?” He was all for making one right there and then, so I told him, “We can’t make one right now. We have to get the stuff to make it first and then we can.” I showed him the one on the far left that I found on Pinterest from http://www.doodlecraftblog.com.
He wasn’t going to hear that we needed to wait, so he set out to find the stuff. After a few minutes he came to me with two milk jugs and a long wide blue ribbon. “The this on me!” he said. So I tied the milk jugs to his back with the ribbon and he showed his jet pack to his aunties! We all had a good laugh and he struck a pose so I could take this awesome picture.
I think we’ll make another attempt after we gather a few more things to use in the project!
