Inspiring Autistic Artist.

I want to introduce my readers to a very special young lady, my niece Cydanie Jean Allen.

Cydanie is a 26 year old graduate of Layton High School. She is a talented writer and artist, who has created many original artistic pieces and written stories and books. She also works a part-time job, enjoys baking, Pokemon, taking care of her cat and likes the color purple. Cydanie is autistic.

Cydanie lives in a basement apartment in the home of her mom and stepdad. She’s the oldest of three girls, and is very close to her twin sisters who are four years younger. She sometimes goes on adventures with her dad and stepmom to find treasures and such.

I had the privilege of caring for Cydanie as she was growing up, while her parents were working. She is close in age to my two daughters, so the three of them grew up together and are good friends. They took dance class and played t-ball together and were constant playmates and best buds!

Four Seasons Gypsy Fairies is a book that Cydanie wrote, illustrated and published in 2017. Her mom and grandma helped her get copies to give to all of her family members as a Christmas gifts. That book is now one of my treasured possessions.

Besides being very talented, Cydanie is a kind and caring person, She is very sincere and truly passionate about her interests. She is dearly loved by her parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. We feel very blessed to have her as a part of our family.
