Roasting Sunflower Seeds
This year G2 and I grew a giant sunflower. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I had to convince him that it was okay for boys to grow flowers; the giant part helped! Revealing the Harvest – 2015!
This is my very first annual post to reveal the harvest for the year from my garden! I have visions of grandeur that next year I will cover the garden with a weed barrier, cover that with decorative mulch, build some raised beds, fill them with clean (weed free!) dirt, religiously water and fertilize it and grow a spectacular garden that will yield an incredible, amazing, bountiful harvest. An Unlikely Harvest
Last Spring, with my garden soil freshly tilled and warming in the sunshine, I happily went to the local nursery and purchased some young vegetable sprouts, a pumpkin plant for my grandchildren and cantaloupe and cucumber for my husband. Gardening With My Grandkids
My favorite place to spend time as a little girl was in our beautiful yard with my daddy.
