Decorate your walls with love.
(Disclaimer: I received free product for showcasing the canvas art in this post. However, the opinions expressed here are my honest and true personal opinions).
The walls in my home are decorated with the people and things I love! As an introvert Home is one of my very favorite places to be. Sometimes I pull into my driveway after a long day, look at my house, and think, “I love you!” The fact that my walls are decorated with the people and things I love just adds to the warm cozy feeling I get from my home.
These three pictures are of my mom and me, my daddy and me when I was just a little girl, and my three older sisters and me when I was a tiny baby. The nostalgic, old fashioned tone they have gives my home charm and character.
My absolute favorite people in the whole wide world are my children and grandchildren. The sweet innocence in this picture of my little girls and me warms my heart. It adds love to my bedroom wall, along with my all time favorite photo of the three of us and one of my favorites with my boys.
These two cute photos of my four oldest grandbabies really showcase their precocious personalities. I need to replace this piece though with a photo that includes my two youngest.
This beautiful photograph of a wilted sunflower showcases two of my hobbies that bring me great joy, gardening and photography. I had it made into a canvas print by Canvas on the Cheap. They do beautiful work and you can order your own canvas HERE. I love this piece because it is elegant and absolutely gorgeous. It is showcased in my entryway.
This framed poem about sisters was given to me by my oldest sister. It also hangs in my bedroom and reminds me of the love and admiration I have for my sisters and the friendship I share with them. They are some of my very best friends.
The last four pieces of art I want to share with you here were made by my four children when they were teenagers. We used to attend a fine arts competition every year when they were in high school and these are some of their best entries. The quaint little owl was designed and made with leaves by my oldest son Micheal. The peaceful praying hands were drawn by my second son Joseph. The delightful piece with the little girl and baby is a drawing my oldest daughter did of two of her cousins. The photograph of tge very stunning stalagtites was taken by my youngest daughter Tarrin, who went on to become a very talented photographer. The owl and the stalactites photo hang in my living room and the two drawings bring still more love and warmth to my bedroom.
There are many other things that decorate my walls and fill my home with love and happiness. These are just a few of my favorite pieces.
How are the walls in your home decorated? If you’d like to fill them with love put some thought into it and choose things that are significant and meaningful to you. Decorating your walls with love will make your home a more inviting place and bring joy and comfort to your family.
