Roasting Sunflower Seeds
This year G2 and I grew a giant sunflower. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I had to convince him that it was okay for boys to grow flowers; the giant part helped! I also told him that his great grandpa was a gardener and grew all kinds of flowers! So grow one we did and it was a success. Revealing the Harvest – 2015!
This is my very first annual post to reveal the harvest for the year from my garden! I have visions of grandeur that next year I will cover the garden with a weed barrier, cover that with decorative mulch, build some raised beds, fill them with clean (weed free!) dirt, religiously water and fertilize it and grow a spectacular garden that will yield an incredible, amazing, bountiful harvest.
