Kid’s Books about Summer!
Reading is so good for kids and I try to encourage it every chance I get! My book collection is all about holidays and my grandkids love to read them when they come to Gramma’s house. They like to learn about all the fun activities and events associated with the different holidays and the changing seasons. The most wonderful thing of all is when they snuggle up next to me and let me read them a story!
Kid’s Books about Summer
As a Gramma and a Teacher, I love to read kids books about the seasons. Where I live in Utah, we experience all four seasons every year, Spring, Summer, Winter and Fall! I’m working toward having several books about each so I can switch them up throughout the season.
I have the most books about fall because it is my all time favorite, I also have a few about winter. I need to work on my summer collection and especially my Spring collection! There are so many fun stories here. I haven’t quite decided yet which ones I want to get to add to my collection.

Great article! I’m searching for a paperback book for kids called “Summertime” a book in poetic form about a young girl and her family going to the seashore with extended family every summer. Can anyone help me? It may have been a Yearling published book. Thanks!

I did a search using your exact words (“Summertime” a book in poetic form about a young girl and her family going to the seashore with extended family every summer). Several books came up with very similar descriptions. None had that exact title. Wish I could be more help, good luck in your search!
