Groundhog Day Treats!

Bonus post today!  I just had to share these cute pics of our Groundhog Day treats!  We’re big on holidays around here and we never want to miss out on a chance to celebrate ~ even if we are celebrating six more weeks of winter!

We’re also big on treats around here!  So we came up with this cute, quick, and simple Groundhog Day Treat idea!  As you can clearly see from these adorable photos, my grandkids loved them!

First you’ll need some mini chocolate cupcakes from your local grocery store bakery.  Ours had cookie crumbles on top that looked like dirt -BONUS!!  Then you need a box of honey Teddy Grahams.  The Teddys will become honorary groundhogs for the day!

Pop a “Groundhog Graham” on top of each mini cupcake.  Simple as that – there you have it – a groundhog peeking out from his mound of dirt to see if he will find his shadow or not.

The kids always have so much fun with these!  And I always have fun when the Grands are having fun!!
