25 Low or No Cost Christmas Activities

Here’s a list of twenty-five Christmas Activities you can do together as a family! Choose a few activities to enjoy throughout the season or have fun doing one activity every day until Christmas.
- Visit a Christmas Lights Display
- Go Christmas Caroling
- Visit a Nativity Display
- Build a Snowman & Make Snow Angels
- Drink Gourmet Hot Chocolate
- Bake & Decorate Christmas Cookies
- Go Ice Skating
- Take a Drive to See Christmas Lights
- Make Ugly Sweaters (using old sweaters and pompoms, ribbons, fabric scraps, etc.)
- Write a Family Christmas Letter & Include Photos
- String Popcorn Garlands (or cranberries, or Cheerios or Fruitloops, etc.)
- Make & Send Christmas Cards
- Visit Santa Claus
- Have a Taffy Pull
- Go Sledding
- Visit a Christmas Tree Display
- Cut Paper Snowflakes
- Go Christmas Shopping at the Dollar Store
- Take Goodies to the Neighbors
- Visit a Nursing Home & Sing Christmas Songs & Pass Out Cards
- Decorate a Gingerbread House
- Read A Christmas Carol
- Read The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
- Make Homemade Christmas Ornaments
- Watch Christmas Movies (This is one of our Christmas Day traditions).

These are great ideas for the Christmas Season! My husband and I are going to the Zoo lights this month and plan on making some Chrismas cookies!
