The Ghost!

As I laid on my bed, relaxing before it was time to turn in for the night, my 23 year old daughter sat on the cedar chest at the foot of my bed, visiting with me. It had been raining most of the day and we could hear that it was coming down pretty steady at the time. Somehow our conversation got around to spirits, ghosts and demons. My husband likes to watch ghost hunter shows and mostly I just…

Homemade Kool-Aid Play Dough

Homemade Kool-Aid Play Dough

Here’s What You Need: 1 Cup of Flour 1/4 Cup of Salt 1 Tbsp. Cooking Oil…

Painted Lady Butterflies!

Our little school is called Wasatch Intermountain Academy.  In its heyday there were nearly 50 students.  Now as I get closer to retirement we have just a few students, a ninth grader, a 4 year old preschooler and a few toddlers.  This fall as one of our activities to start the school year we decided to raise Painted Lady Butterflies.  They’re so fun to watch and the kids learn a lot about science in the process.  I ordered our caterpillars…

Welcome Bear

Makeover for Welcome Bear
